2021 Pikes Peak or Bust Rodeo Days

Our invitational championship Rodeo promises edge-of-your-seat excitement featuring many of the best athletes in the business, along with a variety of other traditional western events sure to please the whole family. Fans of all ages will enjoy all the action! Grounds open at 4:00 p.m.—come early, skip the traffic, and enjoy the family-friendly pre-show fun, including games, rides, mutton bustin’ tryouts and plenty of vendor booths for shopping! Parking is free! And be sure to stay afterward for live music and dancing in the Coors Roadhouse.

Rodeo Dates: July 14-17, 2021
Location: Norris-Penrose Event Center
Times: 7:00 p.m., Wednesday–Saturday nights, 12:30 p.m. Saturday matinee

Mutton Bustin’

Is your child 4-9 years of age and 50 pounds or less? Then bring ’em on down each performance of the Rodeo to try their luck at mutton bustin’!

Dates: July 14-17, 2021
Prelims: Starts at 4:00 p.m. Wednesday–Saturday nights and 10 a.m. for the Saturday matinee
Finals: Takes place at each performance
Cost: $10 for Prelim rides and $10 to ride again in the Finals if selected. Note: you must bring the completed form and fees with you the day your child competes!

Location: USAFA Eisenhower Silver Course

Assemble your foursome and join us for an afternoon of scramble golf on the beautiful Silver Course, with a BBQ immediately following. Western attire suggested!

Colorado Springs Western Street Breakfast

Date: June 16, 2021
Time: 5:30 a.m. – 9:30 a.m.
Cost: $5.00 – Children five and under eat free!
Location: Downtown Colorado Springs at Pikes Peak & Tejon

Come join us downtown to celebrate our community’s western heritage! Enjoy a great $5.00 breakfast and plenty of free family fun, with proceeds benefiting our local military and their families.

Lil’ Cowboys & Cowgirls Round Up

Date: June 16, 2021 (at the Street Breakfast)
Time: Check in time is from 6:00 a.m. – 7:30 a.m.
Age Groups: Girls 3-6 and Boys 3-6; Girls 7-10 and Boys 7-10

Calling all cowboys and cowgirls ages 3-10! Put on your western gear and accessories and come on down to the Street Breakfast to see who wins the prize! Important: Participants MUST register prior to the start of the competition.
